MQTT Access

End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of MQTT Access (the “Software”). By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement.

1. License grant

Subject to this Agreement, the copyright holders grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to install and use the Software.

2. Open-source license

The Software is distributed under the MIT License. If any part of this Agreement conflicts with the MIT License for source code use, the MIT License controls for source code rights. See the License page.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Misrepresent the origin of the Software.
  • Remove copyright or license notices from distributed copies.
  • Use the Software in violation of applicable laws.

4. Third-party services and brokers

The Software can connect to third-party MQTT brokers and network services. Those services are not controlled by the Software authors and may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, and security practices.

5. Data and security responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Configuring secure broker connections and credentials.
  • Managing certificates, keys, and local machine security.
  • Verifying topic access controls and retention policies on your brokers.

6. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided “AS IS”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, profits, or business interruption, arising from use of the Software.

8. Termination

This Agreement terminates automatically if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and destroy copies in your possession where required by law.

9. Changes to this Agreement

This Agreement may be updated in future releases. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
